Piano Bar

Amazingly, we run into some friends at the super-cozy Piano Bar. Karin and Arjan from New York were with us, and Shig and Shurei with friend Matt just happened to be upstairs at this maximum 10 people capacity establishment.

Visitors from New York

Two springs ago, we were in New York and giddy over seeing each other for the first time in 5 years. That’s when we met John and Jiae. Even though that was the first time meeting, they took our story all in a stride as if they wouldn’t expect anything else of us. This time we met up in Shibuya, but they will always remind us of those chilly New York days when everything just became more hopeful.

Shibuya Crossing

The Starbucks overlooking the Shibuya Crossing is to be the busiest Starbucks in the world. Partially, it must be because of this view. Every few minutes all the cars stop and the huge crossing is full of people making their way to or from the Shibuya station. It’s a rush to see it or to be in it.
